CK REED IS A MURAL ARTIST AND ILLUSTRATOR WITH A SIGNATURE MIX OF VIVID TONES AND BOTANICAL MOTIFS.






CK Reed (b. 1988, Pittsburgh, PA) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in painting, large-scale murals, papier-mâché sculpture, textile and wallpaper design, watercolor illustrations, and mixed-media collages. She received her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Fibers. Now working between Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago. Best known for her site-specific murals and watercolor illustrations inspired by world travels, Reed captures the essence of places through a distinctive, imaginative style. Her work focuses on bold compositions featuring botanical motifs, created from direct experiences in the moment.

Reed’s work is characterized by a distinctive mix of vivid tones, nature-inspired elements that have a surreal pop sensibility. She uses a strong color palette and her illustrations and paintings evoke whimsical landscapes, drawing inspiration from the plant life around her and urban environments. Notable projects include murals for the City of West Hollywood, The Soho House in Los Angeles, and The Standard Hotel in Miami. Additionally, her illustrations recapping art fairs Design Miami LA and Art Basel Miami in both 2022 and 2024 were published in Surface Magazine.

CK’s work has been collected by The Soho House in Los Angeles and Miami, Nomada Hotel Group in California, as well as featured on Compartes Chocolate packaging. She participated in Los Angeles Design Weekend 2024, and had a solo show at Four Brothers Wine Los Olivos, CA. Her work has also been exhibited in Open Spaces, a group show at Winston’s Gallery in Los Angeles, and currently has a solo show at Krus Kitchen in Miami, FL.
